The TTP223 Capacitive Touch Sensor Module is a compact touch-sensitive switch that detects a finger touch without requiring mechanical buttons. It provides a digital output that can be easily interfaced with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers.
This small red PCB module uses the TTP223 capacitive touch-sensing IC to detect human touch through its large circular sensing pad. A simple touch can be used as a replacement for a conventional push button in electronic projects.
The module provides a 3-pin interface - VCC, GND, and SIG - making it very easy to connect to a microcontroller. In its standard operating mode, the output changes from LOW to HIGH when the touch pad is activated. Depending on the module configuration, momentary and toggle operation as well as active-HIGH/active-LOW output modes can be supported.
It is suitable for touch-controlled lights, smart switches, robotics, automation projects, interactive displays, DIY electronics, and embedded control systems.
