The 1.3-inch OLED Display Module is a compact, high-contrast monochrome display designed for embedded systems and IoT applications. Featuring an OLED panel with I2C communication, it offers crisp visuals, low power consumption, and wide viewing angles, making it ideal for displaying text, graphics, and sensor data.
The 1.3-inch OLED Display Module is based on the SH1106 or SSD1306 display controller (depending on the model) and features a 128 × 64 pixel monochrome OLED screen. Unlike LCDs, OLED technology does not require a backlight, providing excellent contrast, deep blacks, faster response times, and lower power consumption.
The module communicates via the I2C interface, requiring only two data lines (SDA and SCL), making it easy to connect to Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32, and other microcontrollers. It is widely used in IoT devices, wearable electronics, robotics, weather stations, digital meters, clocks, and DIY electronics projects to display sensor readings, menus, icons, and animations.
